What is Catch the Ace?

Catch the Ace is a licensed lottery-style raffle in Ontario that combines a weekly cash prize with a growing progressive jackpot.

How it Works

  1. Purchase a ticket for the weekly draw.

  2. One ticket is randomly selected as the weekly winner.

  3. The winner receives the weekly prize (typically 20% of that week's sales).

  4. The winner then chooses an envelope containing a playing card.

  5. If the card revealed is the Ace of Spades, the winner also takes home the progressive jackpot.

  6. If another card is revealed, the jackpot continues to grow and carries over to the next draw.

Typical Distribution of Ticket Sales

  • 20% → Weekly Prize Winner

  • 30% → Progressive Jackpot

  • 50% → Supports local charities, community organizations, and program expenses
