A New Chapter for the Legion. This past August, members from across Canada gathered at the 2026 Dominion Convention to honour our legacy, welcome the newly elected national leadership team, and help shape the future of the Legion.
As we begin this next chapter, the strength of the Legion continues to come from our members and Branches — united in service to Veterans, communities, and Remembrance.

The Dominion Executive Council has approved a standardized annual period for the National Poppy Campaign
Beginning in 2026, the campaign will run each year from October 24 through November 11
Previously, the campaign began on the last Friday in October and varied from 12 to 18 days. Consistent annual dates will provide greater certainty and reduce the impact that weekends, business hours and local circumstances can have during a shorter campaign
